Almost finished treatment, moving back to southern Illinois (near Indiana and Kentucky). Looking to meet people from the area I'm moving to. I need to set up a sober support network. Hope to hear from you.

Great plan! I live in Florida. Sober network is key for me too.

Get engaged with the local sober community immediately upon discharge. I cannot emphasize this enough. God speed!

(There’s a cool Facebook group, I think called Quarantined Alcoholics Anonymous ... members chat, and they have a cool link to a spreadsheet with a ton of Zoom AA meetings. :+1:).

Excellent question!

  1. Go to meetings
  2. Tell the moderator that you would like some phone numbers.
  3. Look in the "chat section"
  4. Be sure to use the numbers. "Dial them, don't file them."
