Almost 3 years ago I began sobriety from alcohol. I chose not to use a support system. It was challenging. All alone in my detox, family couldn't fathom what my body and mind was going through. Im sure it was dangerous to do it that way.. One benefit from abstaining so long is the ability to look back and remember the dark days you had traveled and be reassured that you can handle any challenge ahead. Im proud of everyone here..
