Colorado is GORGEOUS! I grew up near the Teton Mountains (Idaho) and have also lived in SLC (Wasatch & Uintah ranges) and Colorado definitely gives them a run for their money! And OOOOH! I've heard of the Catskills, but never been! Do you know the high elevation there / if they have alpine areas?

Well, I grew up in Idaho, which people always get confused with Iowa! I have to remind them that ID does potatoes, not corn. Does that count?!

Whoa! Big change! I was born in the Bay Area, but my fam moved to a teeny tiny town in Idaho when I was in elementary school. How do you like Alabama? I've always been interested in the south, but have only been to FL & the Carolinas.

Such a pretty state! Those rolling hills near Shenandoah!!!

I've been alcohol free for a little over 5 years. Since then, I was on and off on the "marijuana maintenance program" - still working on that one and have been clean from it since March '21.

I LOVE NC! One of my close friends recently moved there and it's had me thinking long and hard about if I could live in the south, haha!

So, I had never been to NJ before leading a teen conservation program there. I was so surprised by how lush and green a lot of the state is! And how there are rural parts too!

I've never been! How's the weather there right now???

Doing alright, but my broken ankle is kinda angry today.

I live in Greensboro, a few hours away one direction from the beach and even closer the other direction from the mountains!!!!!

It's very pretty! I only wish I was closer to water. I grew up in WI/MI and I could walk to the Bay or river in minutes from almost anywhere. It's always been so soothing to me.
