And she is a rescue my friend found in the streets. So I adopted her to rescue me.

Rachel, Keep a Jar to add all the money that you would have spent on alcohol in a spot that you see often. Glue the top on and make just enough of an opening to keep adding cash to it. It's a fun challenge and all of a sudden you can treat yourself to something nice for your dedication to sobriety.

Day 1 is the worst for me as far as feelings of anxiety and failure. I guess the upside is not really feeling the urge to drink again? Here’s to day 2 for you!
